Shipping & Returns


Orders are processed Monday - Friday, with the exception of Holidays, during normal business hours 8:30 am - 4:30 pm Eastern Time. In most cases orders received before 2:00 pm will be processed and shipped out the same business day, pending product availability. Ground shipping orders normally take 1 - 5 business days to arrive. Express orders must be placed by 12 p.m. EST to ensure same day shipping. Please call us regarding any Express orders placed after 12 p.m. EST.

Our express/overnight shipping rates are some of the lowest online, if not the lowest in the business. We have daily pickups with Federal Express, UPS and the U.S. Postal Service. For large orders call 800-915-7017 for our discounted and pallet based shipping rates.

International Shipping: American Drug Test will ship internationally to many parts of the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations. Please call 800-915-7017 to arrange shipping on your shipping account. We ship internationally on UPS, FedEx and DHL.


Our standard return policy is for new un-opened product within 30 days of receipt of product. If a refund is permitted there will be a 30% restocking fee. Restocking fees and return shipping costs do not apply if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.). Drug and alcohol testing products are not returnable and all sales are final. Drug test kits are regulated by the FDA and require specific storage requirements which can not be validated once the product leaves our warehouses. In the unlikely event the product is deemed defective by American Drug Test or if we shipped the wrong product we will issue a refund or product replacement. All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number provided by American Drug Test.

If you need to return an item, please Contact Us or call Customer Service at 1-470-377-5800 with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order if the product is deemed returnable.

You should expect to receive your refund within 3-4 weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

Testing devices suspected of being defective require proof of suspected product failure either by pictures and/or copies of laboratory confirmation. Returned product will be sent to the manufacturer for further QA/QC testing. If the product is determine to be defective we will replace the product, issue a refund check or process a credit card refund. Please keep in mind that our testing products are of highest quality and reliability. Most testing discrepancies and errors are determined to be procedural in nature. Please refer to the product package insert for product details, directions for use and results interpretation.

Please have the following information on hand when calling with a suspected product issue: customer name, sales order or invoice number and the nature of the problem. In many cases we will require pictures of the suspected defective product.


American Drug Test customers who are sales tax exempt should call 800-915-7017 to create or update their account.  We need an exempt certificate for the state you are shipping to for our system to correctly process your order.  Once your account has been created and we have a valid certificate on file your orders will be quickly processed as normal.
